These Terms explain the Workplace check, optional paid reading access and your rights. Read them with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. Changes do not retrospectively reduce valid access or mandatory rights attached to an earlier purchase.

Use this email for account help, payment problems, complaints and privacy requests. We acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours of receipt and address them within one month. We provide a complaint reference and explain the outcome. Where a provider is involved, we keep you informed; this does not remove your legal rights or automatically extend a statutory deadline.
The product
Built, Not Born is an educational workplace-reflection tool and online book reader. It is not a medical, psychological or psychometric assessment, professional advice, or a guarantee of career outcomes. Account creation and purchases are intended for people aged 18 or older who can enter into a contract.
The free check and chapter preview
The Workplace check consists of six questions in total: choose a situation, then answer five short follow-ups. You can view the initial result without signing in or paying. Defined product logic supplies a practical next step and, where supported by the answers, a related chapter. It is not an AI-generated diagnosis. Uncertain answers may produce no specific chapter recommendation.
Google sign-in lets you save your result and open the related chapter preview. New free accounts can save one current-check result. If that limit is reached, the workspace provides a way back to your saved result. A preview is a limited excerpt, not the whole book. Earlier valid chapter entitlements are respected.
Annual reading access and delivery
Read all 18 chapters for ₹999 total for 12 months. One-time payment. No automatic renewal. The total is displayed before payment. Digital access starts once payment is captured and verified by the server. Use the same Google account when you return. Access expires at the end of the purchased period; a later purchase requires a separate decision.
If payment is debited but verification is pending, do not pay again. Contact us with the non-secret order or payment reference so that we can investigate a payment failure or restore valid access. The Refund Policy explains non-delivery, duplicate charges, deficient service and other remedies.
Existing customers and older records
Older diagnostic results, separately granted chapters and legacy practice features may remain available to eligible accounts. They are not extra features promised by the current six-question check. Current wording does not cancel prior valid purchases or entitlements; purchase records and applicable terms are considered when resolving an access dispute.
Account security and acceptable use
Keep your Google account and device secure. Account sharing, impersonation, unauthorised redistribution, bypassing access controls, malicious automated requests and attacks on the service are not permitted. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect the service, subject to applicable law and an opportunity to contact us about an error.
Do not include employer secrets, client-confidential information or sensitive personal information. Do not send passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs or payment credentials. Private notes and results are not automatically published. Public testimonials require a separate submission and permission.
Intellectual property
The book, original writing and product materials belong to their respective rights holders. Purchased access is a personal, non-transferable licence to read online during the access period. It does not transfer ownership or permit copying, resale or redistribution except where the law permits or the rights holder agrees.
Availability and account deletion
Maintenance, network problems and provider faults may interrupt access. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or particular personal outcomes. These limitations do not excuse non-delivery or deficient service where a remedy is legally required. We may improve the product, but cannot use these Terms to remove mandatory remedies for a materially reduced purchased service.
You may stop using the service or request account deletion. Eligible operational data is deleted through the account-deletion process described in the Privacy Policy. Necessary payment and accounting evidence may be retained, with the active application-account link detached and minimised. Provider-held records and backups can follow separate retention periods, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Account deletion and requesting a refund are separate actions.
Changes and legal rights
Material policy changes will carry a revised date and appropriate notice. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer protections and the jurisdiction of legally competent forums. Nothing here excludes a right, remedy, liability or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded. You do not have to surrender statutory complaint rights or agree to mandatory arbitration to receive support.
